Halfway Through 2026: A Look at What We’ve Accomplished Together
As we’ve reached the halfway point of 2026, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what your support has made possible.
Every number represents a life changed—an animal given a second chance, a family made complete, and a step toward reducing pet overpopulation in our community.
January – June 2026: Animals taken into our care: 338
Animals adopted into loving homes: 275
Animals reunited with their families: 48
Behind these numbers are countless stories of resilience, compassion, and hope. They also highlight the essential role our shelter plays in our community. We are here for abandoned animals, emergency situations, responsible pet ownership, lost pets, and helping families find lifelong companions.
Every adoption opens a kennel for another animal in need. Every spay or neuter surgery helps prevent future homelessness. Every donation, volunteer, fundraiser, and shared social media post helps make this work possible.
To everyone who has adopted, donated, volunteered, fostered, sponsored, or cheered us on this year—thank you. You are the reason these animals get a second chance.
While we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together, we know our work will never be finished. The need continues to grow, and we’re committed to being there for every animal who needs us.
Here’s to making the second half of 2026 even more impactful—for the animals and for our community
