Summer Reading Program

Our summer reading program is BACK starting this Thursday! If your kids are looking for something different to do this summer, bring them by the shelter on Thursdays between 1:00-2:00, and they can spend time reading to a shelter animal!

This program offers benefits for both kids and animals- kids get a non-judgemental reading partner, overcome fear of animals, and decompress, while shelter animals can reduce anxiety, have more exposure to children, and enjoy one on one time.

Books, snacks and drinks are provided- or bring your own books along!
