Our summer reading program is BACK starting this Thursday! If your kids are looking for something different to do this summer, bring them by the shelter on Thursdays between 1:00-2:00, and they can spend time reading to a shelter animal! This program offers benefits for both kids and animals- kids get a non-judgemental reading partner, overcome fear of animals, and decompress, while shelter animals can reduce anxiety, have more exposure to children, and enjoy one on one time.
